We are an independent film company focused upon dark films mainly in the genres of drama, thrillers, suspense and horror. We purchase rights to books, novellas, plays, short stories, etc. for development. We also work with projects that are ready for production.
We work with writers, producers, directors and actors internationally.
Left Bank started in 2000 as Paris Mudd Productions, a part of Mr. Mudd Production out of LA. Mr. Mudd is John Malkovich's production company with Russell Smith and Lianne Halfon. Since 2005, we have created our own vision and focus.

He is the General Manager of the company and works as a developer, writer, producer, director and actor.
Thomas is our lead creative artist and shaman-in-residence. Living in lovely San Francisco, California, he is the author of many short stories, novellas, and is at work on an article on mouse taxidermy. He has many projects under development for Left Bank Films.
Kathryn handles all of the logistics for production and art direction.
Kristen manages the Portsmouth Left Bank offices and handles logistics for all productions.
